The UK is set to release its version of the classic novel The Great Gaps in India on Thursday.
The book, which will be published by UK publishing house Simon & Schuster, will be the first in the US to be released in the country, and follows the book’s launch in the UK last year.
According to the book, written by American author Michael Chabon, the story takes place in the late 19th century in America’s South.
The author told The New York Times that it was a “dream” to bring the story to India and “wouldn’t have happened without India’s vibrant cinema industry and rich cultural heritage.”
The book was written by Chaban himself, and will include a “collection of stories and scenes from India that will have fans of the book all over the world.”
